JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths 1 Year ago	Karma: 0
Whenever I try to run the multisite template load I receive this error from the subject line. JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths, but the folder is created. without any files loaded into the folder. If I try a regular installation into that folder after creating the site then the links do not work and cannot use the modules. due to bad linkage. any help would be appreciated.

Would you please give me the full error message with the source file, the line number, ... open_basedir is a parameter of your apaches/PHP environement. JMS try to create a file (I don't know which one as you don't have given the full message error) into a directory where you have no permission. Have a look in Joomla / Help / System infomation -> and you will se the value of open_basedir

I get the error message: JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths The deployed directory [stiltippde] does not exists. It is during the same process: I'm in the site manager and have created a new site from a template. PS: the directory "stiltippde" already exists in my joomla multisites folder: joomla/multisites/stiltippde what is wrong?
