Hi
I followed your recommendation in patches definitions "SH404SEF re-installation procedure on a fresh slave site". It all seems to work ok but I now have 3 instances of the plugin System - sh404sef in the plugins list. Is that ok? I am using Joomla version 1.5.14 and JMS 1.2.4.

NO.
This is strange.

I will try reproducing it.

It seems that on uninstalling SH404SEF from the slave site the plugin is not uninstalled.
If I manually try to uninstall it, I get the error
* Plugin Uninstall: Manifest File invalid or not found
Message
* Uninstall Plugin Error

If I then re-install SH404SEF on the slave site I then have 2 plugins. The earlier one may now be uninstalled.

If you have an error on the manifest, this probably mean that it is not present also on the master website.

When you un-install an extension from the slave site, this only remove the definition of this extension in the DB and this NOT remove the files on the disk as they are need by the master website or other slave site.

When you have such error, this is perhaps the symptom that you also have an error on the master website and that this extension is not correctly installed or corrupted.
