We are trying to setup 3 different sites on a LiteSpeed server but these sites will use 3 different domains. So, we have created 3 docroots to house the 3 websites.

Document root: /usr/local/lsws/docroots/site1/html
Document root: /usr/local/lsws/docroots/site2/html
Document root: /usr/local/lsws/docroots/site3/html

Will this setup work?

There is one main website (site1) and 2 other websites are slave websites sharing some components.

Yes this should work.

You need to deploy the slave site in those directories.
Ensure also that you are using the same ownership and that the different document root can be accessed by the same owner.

You can always test the permission with the "hello.php" that you can find in the tutorial video 7.
