Same admin panel of slave siteas of main site 14 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,

We have installed JMS successfully and created a slave site using a template which is sharing master database, But the problem is that when we are accessing administrator panel of slave site it is showing administrator panel of master site and any changes in this (slave) administrator panel is replicated to the master site only.

We are not able to trace the problem.

So any help!

Thanks

When a domain name is not present in the list of JMS slave site then the master website is displayed.

So you have to check that you have the domain name spelled correctly.
Check that you have for example defined the domain with www.domain.com and also domain.com (with and without www).
Verify that you don't receive an error when saving the slave site definition.

I have a question about that. So how is that use full to route it to the master site. As you have told me the master site should be hidden and in a password protected directory. Why then would i want to route anyone to that. I think it would be better to determine with site I would like to route bad urls to. Just a thought.
