I have a main domain using Joomla. I also have 6-7 other websites using Joomla as well. These are all almost "clones" of the main website, however some are using different templates.

I have installed JMS on a test website to understand. On it, I have my main website "Erewhon", with a full Joomla file installation, as well as the mySQL tables. I did a mySQL installation of the second website "Aloha", but none of the files (although I made the subdomain and directory).

How do I "link" "aloha" to the main website?

Thanks!

See the tutorial video CP-04 that give a sample step by step with cPanel.
The first thing that must be checked is the HTTP Server configuration and the location of the subdomain on the disk.
When you are sure of the subdomain and its location, you can ask JMS to deploy the symbolic links in this directory.
This is explained in the video.

The test site is on GoDaddy. They don't use CPanel.

On Godaddy, it creates the subdomain under the "primary" domain or account.

See the other post where I have replied with cPanel description.
This is also valid on goDaddy as in the other post, you mentionned that the master is a subdirectory of your "primary" domain (or account).

The other post is also valid because goDaddy is totally OK with Symbolic Link and MySQL 5.0 and its MySQL user privileges to share the content.

So apply the procedure described in the post
