Strange Issue - Joomla multi site 12 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
We have registered version of JMS 1.2 installed in Joomla1.5.20

Our URl Master Site URL is usentrepreneurtoday.com/

for which we have different slave sites like

newyork.usentrepreneurtoday.com/

pennsylvania.usentrepreneurtoday.com/

We are facing a strange issue.

The issue is that when we open our master site, the site is opening properly, but the different links in the master site takes to slave site links ( This is also not happening always mostly the links are pointed to master site and rarely it points to slave site and also the links is not pointed to the same slave site, this varies periodically, but at a time all the links are pointed to one wrong slave site

Do you use the latest version of JMS 1.2.78.
If not, start to update your JMS with the latest version.
See the FAQ on how to received a new download ID for the the latest version or the product that you have purchased.

We have installed version 1.2.8, Also we have setup sub domains by using the wild card character (*). Does using of this wildcard character causes the problem? Can we use wildcard characters for setting up sub domains or we should mention correct sub domain name

You can NOT using the wildcard character in the JMS definition as it will never be received by JMS.

JMS perform an exact matching of the URL and is also case sensitive.
