Hi there, I have the above error while trying to install JMS. I have checked available solutions with no result increased time limit & file size in php.ini chmod 777 directories uploaded component thru FTP [gives me restriced access msg] Update. Remote URL install sorted out the problem.

This is probably due to an upload_max_size limit to small to upload a file of 3MB. See the tutorial video 3 show how to install Jms multisites on Joomla 1.5 and 1.6.
