if you are using hostgator with baby or business plan, see the video CP-04 that show how to setup the cPanel and JMS Multisites with a subdomain.

In cPanel, create a subdomain and specific a document root directory.
The key element is to provide exactly the same path in Jms Multi Sites when you deploy the slave site.

If you are not sure of the path, try copy the "hello word" php file into the subdomain root directory and the path will be displayed.
This is the full path that must be entered in the deployed folder field in Jms Multi Sites.

Once you have created the subdomain in cPanel and created the slave site into Jms Multisites, verify that you have effectivelly all the symbolic link created into the subdomain directory.
You should also have the "installation" directory created to allow executing the "joomla installer".

First you didn't apply the video correctly as you didn't enter the "deploy folder" path.

You are defining a website with a subdomain.
In the slave site definition, you didn't put any "deploy folder".
So in this case, you have to verify the setup of your HTTP Server to assign the subdomain with the same path as your master "/hspehere/local/nnnn/ttechsolutions.com"

If you have put another path in your subdomain defined in your HTTP Server (apache) using a cPanel or other tool then you have to put this value in the "deploy folder" parameter.

They must be identical.

I am not sure if I follow you. I followed the same video included in the this thread exactly.

Can you please give some more specific example. you are saying "deploy folder" but in ut tutorial, u did not put any deploy folder...

In your sample the "DEPLOY FOLDER" field is empty.
You must introduce a value.
It can NOT be empty.

See for example the video 9 and the sample value that are :

* Site ID = slave1
* Domain name = {site_url}/multisites/{site_id}
* DEPLOY DIRECTORY = {site_dir}
