TOPIC: Mobile Component compatability

Re:Mobile Component compatability 13 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I would like to get the mobilejoomla patch updated also. It doesn't currently seem to work.

It works on the master site, but not on any of the child sites.

You can get the latest version from here:

www.mobilejoomla.com/

I have also attached it.

If they changed DB layout or other thing that mean this is not an update but an upgrade.
In this case, to apply all the modification, you need to re-install the extension in the slave to let it do its job concerning the upgrade in the DB

Have you tested it to see if it still works as intended?

If I install in the master will it get created in any new children?

I don't have mobile phone.
So I am not able to test if it works on a mobile.
All I can tell you is that I don't have any error message and that I can access the back-end.

If you know a simulator that would work on a localhost PC, perhaps you could describe us a procedure to test it.

I believe there is a problem because the configuration is stored in a file, and not in the database.

So all the child sites end up with the same configuration - including the domain, which is obviously not going to work across the child sites.
