Exact. The problem is that a CSS can not have php statement that will allow introduce test and condition on the class definition. Second problem is that the CSS is located in the VirtueMart directory and not in a themes directory that can be customized with JMS. Remember that JMS share all the files and folders on the disk. Therefore all the VirtueMart files will be shared.

Would you consider to implement independent Theme Folders for the Virtuemart in coming versions? It's no good to let all multisites to have common virtuemart themes. Seth

NO because they are located into the sub-directory VirtueMart and not in the standard Joomla "templates" directory. I don't expect develop solution for specific extension but provide solution that can be generic and applicable for any extensions.
