The error message is explicit.

Th'e configuration.php files does not exists in the slave site directory and the "installation" directory is not present to allow create the configuration.php file (The stadnard Joomla Installation procedure).

WOOO HOOOO I have it working but......I want to make an exact copy of our master (images, plugins, componets...everything) on a new slave website.

I have watched the videos and my question is a "Template Website" can that be created from the admin area? or only the front end?

Mostly, we will be making hundreds of these websites that pull all of the main products and have then display on the slave sites as well as checking out with VirtueMart with our custom coded garment designer.

Can this be done with the Template Website?

Most importantly, we have had a brand new component created for our main website and we need a full exact copy or our main website to be identical for every slave template site with the VirtueMart functionality for a customer to purchase the products from us. We are not selling a custom version of our main website. We need the look and feel and functionality to
be exactly for every slave that we create. Only the header graphic and images will change for each slave website. We will be creating literally hundreds of websites like this.

I watched the video tutorials and I kind of lost for the direction to go in to make this happen.

Also, we are on a URGENT time frame.

YES, you use the "Website Template" to define the replication rule.
You can effectivelly decide to replicate the master website event if I don't recommend to do it because JMS is already installed and that you will share the same DB than your master website.
In general, I suggest to have a specific DB for the slave site and NOT install JMS on a slave site.

You can effectivelly use the "Website Template" in the "manage site" (back-end) or in the front-end as presented in the tutorial step 13 video.

Do you have a template back end example? How things are defined - setup? (Most Important)

When you say use a Slave DB - Is that going into the CPanel and defining a mysql DB

with different User/Pass etc..? Then when using your Template Website, I would

use the slave DB to connect to?

I don't know you have do usually to create a new DB and use it into the Joomla Installation.
You must proceed as you do when you install a fresh Joomla with a new DB.
Just give another table prefix to avoid using the "jos_" table prefix.

Would you please also explain what was the problem and what you have fixed to make it work.
You have just say that now this is working but you have not mentioned what was the error.
This will help the other readers
