How to delete a Symbolic Link via FTP 15 Years, 3 Months ago	Karma: 0
While experimenting with template to create slave sites. I created some Symbolic Links Folders that I don't need. I tried to delete them, without success. Via FTP I will get an error message. Via Web FTP the Symbolic Links are not visible. And finally the "unlink symbolic_link" comand I cant use because it is a shared hosting. Any suggestions?

Oops, I did not look carefully enough. Via Web FTP the Symbolic Links are displayed as a normal file and so far they can deleted. (In my enviroment with Confixx) First I was looking for folders because in the FTP Program Symbolic Links are displayed as folders.

I have DreamHost. For me FTP won't let me delete a symlink, but using SFTP works for symlinks.
