Add On Domain Problem 15 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi All,
I have a problem when i go and try set up my slave sites.
I have installed the componant and have created a slave site in the manage site section of the master site.
When i go into the cpanel of the master site to enter the add on domain details i get the following error message.

Error from park wrapper: mydomain.com is owned by another user.

Anyone got any ideas ?

Thanks
Peter

Is this domain is your domain and managed by same CPanel account ?
If yes, contact your hosting provider to ask him support.
If this domain is managed by another CPanel account, perhaps you have to modify it with the other CPanel account

For CPanel, I suggest you ask to the support of your hosting provider.

Hi Adrian,

I had put this project to this side, but i hate being beaten so im gunna have another go.

If you are using cpanel, all i did was make SUB DOMAINS instead of ADD ON DOMAINS.
Worked for me, so i didnt solve the problem, i just worked around it.

Regards
Peter

Have you follow the procedure as described in FAQ www.jms2win.com/faq#sec-58

If you want to deploy website into a specific directory, you can also use the following procedure

  • Create a slave site into JMS
    • enter a site identifier (ie demo1)

    • Enter a domain. ie domain.com

    • Enter deploy directory = {site_dir}

  • Go in CPanel and create AddOn domain
    • Enter a new domain name = domain.com

    • Document Root = public_html/multisites/demo1
