TOPIC: Template View Crash! HELP

Template View Crash! HELP 15 Years ago Karma: 0
Just yesterday evening, I decided to create a new template for my slave sites using a one of the databases from one of the slave sites. After setting all of my parameters, I hit save and my screen went blank. I could back space to access the back end of the multisite component but if I click the templete option, I get nothing. I am assuming that I crashed the template option because I used the slave site database. I am not sure but I would like to be able to fix this without having to reinstall the component because I am just getting the hang of using this and I already have 4 slave sites up and running. I have several more to go and I am already behind schedule. If someone can help me on this one, that would be great.

The data of "Website template" information are save into the /multisites/config_templates.php file.

Do you have problem to edit all the "website template" or just one "website tempate".
This is a PHP file that must contain valid PHP code.
I don't know which kind of data you could have entered in the "website template" to crash it.
Normally, the data are filtered before saving them.

Would you please send me by email this "config_templates.php" to let me see if there is invalid PHP data.

I have well received the file and I confirm that there is a syntax error in the Symbolic Link definitiion.
It seems that you have a directory with the letter apostrophe ( ' ) for wich you have asked to perform a copy. See line 117.
I don't know why you have such directory ( ' ) but this is the reason of the error.
I will add an additional filtereing to avoid such problem with JMS 1.1.20.
