Hello Edwin,
How it's possible to have a search module that works on ALL JMS sites (master and slaves)?
The only way is modding the joomla core module for do all the querys that i need?

Perhaps once I will have released JMS 1.2.x.
That has already been request by other customers some month ago.
I have noticed that as low priority.

I wonder whether we can convert JMS 1.2.X + VirtureMart to something similar to ebay or Amazon.

Such that,

1) A slave site contains a directory (e.g SOBI2) of all other slave sites.

2) Searching on products , categorys, articles across all slave sites.

....

Is that possible?

Thanks.

I don't really understand your question.
The objective is to allow sharing some extension
SOBI2 could be a candidate.

When sharing is used, this means that the content of this extension is shared between the website to which it shares its content.
If you consider a website like a repository of children websites, you should have a shared "content". Content must NOT be interpreted as Joomla content that mean articles, categories and sections but as a generic word.

A searching module has already been requested and will be analyzed independtly.
If you share (for example VirtueMart), this mean that the current share module should return the same result between the website that have share the same website.
Concernng VirtueMart, we think to propose to kind of sharing.
- Only the user
- or All VirtueMart including product catalog, ....

Hi Edwin,

Sorry. To be frank, I do not think enough before asking this question.

Will post again after I have a more concrete idea.

Look forward to purchasing your new version!

Thanks.

Concerning Sharing of Virtuemart,

I would prefer sharing of "All", of course
