Site Management? 14 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,

I just wanna ask before purchasing the component.

Is it possible to manage slave sites using the master site administrator panel?
If yes, to what extent I can manage the slave site from the master site?

Expecting feedback asap...

Thanks

What do you mean by manage slave site ?

If this is create slave site from the master website, the answer is yes.
You have the manage site as you can see in the different video present in the tutorial.

If this "administrate" a slave site from the maste (create menu, add articles, setup and enable/disable modules, plugins, ...), the answer is globally NO.
The exception is that you can install/share,uninstall extension in a slave site from the master website using the "tools" menu. See user manual for screenshot.

If you share completly the slave site with the master, the answer is YES because in fact you have only one website. In this case, the slave site is not really independent and only the image, media and partially the themes (templates) can be specific.
In fact, in this case, you use the same DB with the same table prefix for several slave sites.

So to answer correctly to your question, you have to give a detailled definition of "manage slave site using the master site administrator panel".
What do you expect ?
Which are the functionalities you want (in detail) ?
