I don't understand your question.

If you were able to create on localhost, why do you repeat that on your second installation of JMS that you have performed on you mysite.com

Or perhaps this is the same installation ?

If this is the same server that is used both in localhost and also from internet, you just have to add the domain name in the current slave1 and slave2 JMS definition

If you have 2 differents joomla environment (localhost and mysites.com) where you have installed JMS then repeat the same definition as you did it in localhost.

Your definition is very closed of the tutorial step 9.
So you could review it and just remove the multisites directory name and change the deploy folder path.

You can also create JMS template if you want to create a lot of slave site.
See also tutorial step 13, and perhaps also 16 and 17 that could help you.

If you copy all your joomla from a local PC into a public server, you can effectivelly change the domain name present in the slave sites defined in JMS

If you have a look in user manual chapter 9, we also explain how to simulate real domain name. You could use this mechanism to test locally your final domain name and see if JMS is able to recognize the domain name that you expect.

This special feature can also be used when you copy your "public" joomla environment into a local PC.

The only thing that you may have to change concern the different "configuration.php" files of each website to reflect the new DB parameters (host, db name, user, password).
