Issue after installation JMS 1.2.16 14 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Situation:

Developing site on localhost. (xampp)
no sef, cache running. (yet)

The site is nearly ready to go live so i did installed the JMs component already and install the updates/patches. Version 1.2.16 / 1.2.22. After the site is on the live server i will start configuring JMS with multisites. DB prefix is renamed also.

However, the issue which occured (couldn't find a solution here) is that i am now simultaneously logged in in the back and frontend on my loclalhost (which i do not want ofcourse)

If i logout on the frontpage i am also logged out immediately on the backend and vice versa.
After uninstalling JMS the issue was gone.

Did i overlook something or is this an UDF ? (undocumented feature )

I will try to reproduce it without JMS to check what you mentioned.

For the moment, I can just confirm that I see the same on our environment but never discovered that was not the case without JMS.

All I can tell you is that JMS only use the session when you are working on a localhost.
Otherwise it never calls the sessions and therefore should not save anything that would impact the login.

thanks for your answer already !

Hopefully this evening i will start upload the site to a live test server.
From there i will test again. I will keep you posted if the problem still persists on the live site.

cheers
