Hi,

Could you tell me how the breadcrumbs module works if I decide to use a database for each new site and if I use subdomains as "mastersite.com/slavesite1"?

Does it mean for example that we can search slaves sites contents on the master site searchmodule and get the complete breadcrumb to the content when you click on the content you want to read as described below:

home > slavesite1 > content1

You have to consider each slave site as totally independent.
So the search module will only search info in its specific website site (not accross all websites).

So breadcrump remain as usual.
Only related to the menu you are using in your specific (independent) website
