Hello Edwin,

I tried to create slavesite in the frontend but i get this error "Unable to retreive the site ID"

I suppose that you didn't setup the "JMS Templates" correctly or that the result of the "Site ID" files return an empty field.

So check your template and ensure that you have setup the site ID computation correctly.
