VirtueMart - Share the DB tables between websites 12 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
Hy,

Although there is another discussion related with VirtueMart on the forum, it is 2 years old and a lot of things have changed, so I opened a new topic. I need fresh information.

I need to create a MASTER online store with VirtueMart with product categories like this:
Category A
Subcategory A1
Subcategory A2
Subcategory A3
Category B
Subcategory B1
Subcategory B2
Subcategory B3
Category C
Subcategory C1
Subcategory C2
Subcategory C3

After that I need SLAVE online stores for each category in VirtueMart:
SLAVE A for Category A
SLAVE B for Category B
SLAVE C for Category C

In my mind, it is easy to accomplish this if I can share the entire vm_ tables between sites because I can create menus using category IDs on each site. But it is possible to use Multisite component for this? What is the plugins needed to share the VM tables between sites?
The VM Users will also be shared, the rest of the information will be different (articles, menus, modules) for each website.

Please answer ASAP as I need to start this project quickly.

The facility to share the content of an extension is present in Jms Multisites itself.
So you just need the Jms Multisites extension to share the VM content.
