I recently bought the component and installed, and everything went well. I am batteling to setup slave sites that are an exact copy of the main site. The only difference will be the template for each site.

I have now tried every tutorial and went through the forums, but cannot get the slave site as an exact copy. I either get a blank website or I get a website with the default joomla installation conent. Even when I select "share the whole site"

What am I missing?

Create a website with a specific joomla "/templates" directory is explained in the tutorial video CP-05.

The key element is to create a JMS template rule where you mention the action "copy" for thetemplates" directory.
This will replicate the website with a specific "/templates" directory.

If you have a "blank screen" or "blank page" you have to check you error log file because this is the symptom of a PHP fatal error somewhere.

If you share the "whole site", this is also possible to have a specific "/templates" directory but in this case you can not change the selected template. Everything will be shared except the "/templates" directory on the disk. As you will have a specific "/templates" directory, you can replace any files inside this directory and customize your template for the website.

Is there anyone that can setup a template for me?

Concerning the 404, perhaps you have to check if you correctly setup your domain or subdomain in you cPanel or other administration tool. Perhaps you could use the hello world procedure in tutorial video 7 to check the server setting.

If you have a .htaccess present, perhaps there is a "rewritebase" active with a wrong value.
