I am unable to get the Article Sharing plugin to work at all. I have many different slave sites and have tried them all with all different menu item types but cannot get it to work.

I receive this error:

Fatal error: call to a member function setQuery() on a non-object in /html/components/com_multisitescontent/multisites.models/category.php line 234.

This error message let suppose that you make reference to an article that is located in a website for which the DB connection is invalid.

So check that you make reference to a website where you can have a valid connection.

All sites share the same DB. It seems like it might not be switching to the appropriate table when trying to Query the article but I can't figure out why that would not be working.

NO.

Try to use the latest version of JMS (1.2.67) as your "article sharing for JMS" version 1.1.2 is already the latest one.
