TOPIC: How can I work in localhost?
#9003
How can I work in localhost? 12 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,
I installed JMS Multisite component and Single Sign-in for domain.
To develop my sites I need to work on localhost.
I have an existing installation of Joomla 1.5.25, I'm using as a master, but I have difficulty in slave configuration.
So I have a master: localhost/master, and a slave: localhost/slave1.
In manage sites, under the heading domains, I see the link to localhost/slave1.
But when I try to login from the site master, on the site slave are not logged in.
What am I doing wrong? What can I do?
Tank you.

To use JMS on a localhost, see the user manual chapter 9.
This will also allow you simulating the target domain.
On a localhost only, JMS read the "_host_" parameter where you can enter any domain name or subdomain that is defined as slave site.

Becarefull that you can not have any slave site defined in JMS that have the "localhost" in their URL.

For the simulation, you can use for example slave1 and not localhost/slave1
