Hi,

I have a master site and a slave.

I am using K2 on the master site. Everytime I update the K2 stylesheet on the slave it updates the master stylesheet even though there are 2 directories. I want to share k2 but for them to have different stylesheets. This goes for the modules as well.

I also am getting a blank white screen when i try to install a template or extention. this on 2 different multisite setups. It is very frustrating!!!.

Concerning the template, the description that you give me let suppose that K2 save the template in their /components/com_k2 directory somewhere.

As the /components directory is shared between all website, this is normal that you share the K2 templates.
So when you change something somewhere, as the files and folders are shared, this is automatically reflected in the other website.

Concerning the blank screen that you have when you try to install a template.
With which version of Joomla do you have this issue ?
If this is under joomla 2.5.x, retry with the JMS 1.2.77.
We fixed a problem related to the install with joomla 2.5 only.
See FAQ for the procedure to get the latest version

Thanks for your reply.

I am finding that especially with k2.css, I would like them to be different between the 2 sites as the design of them is completely different. One is for a blog and one is for a web design portfolio. So I really wanted a way of there being 2 versions of this file. With the white screen, I am using the latest version 1.2.77 and its after i have upgraded the white screen has appeared.

Heres the answer I wanted....

Adding k2.css to your normal template although i imagine you have to upload different images
