TOPIC: Joomlart T3 Framework with Multisites
#7817
Joomlart T3 Framework with Multisites 12 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi all,

I'm having a problem with multisites working with Joomlart's T3 framework. When I create a copy of a website the newly created slave site keeps the same template directory as the original. Any changes made to the template of the child will affect the original, and vice versa.

I would like the newly created site to use the multisites/newsite/templates folder instead of that of the parent.

This seems to be strictly a T3 issue, so if anyone can offer any help please do so.

Thanks!
NHA

Check the JMS Template rule that you used to create the slave site.
Verify if you used "special copy" or "copy" action for the "/templates" directory.
Also verify if the "/templates" directory is created as a symbolic link or a physical directory.

If you have a symbolic link, this is normal that any changes performed in the master is also reflected in the slave site and vice versa.
