i just installed JMS and trying to create my first slave site

I followed the instructions from here step by step:

I successfully created a template and proceed to creating the new site as in the demo

after i click on save, i got this message
"Unable to create the symbolic link [] -> [/production/community/]."
but the status on page is confirmed and pretty much same as the demo


i then check if it saved the file on the server

And yes it does but when i proceed to the browser for slave installation
i get this on root domain:
No configuration file found and no installation code available. Exiting...

if i try the domain.com/installation <- it gives me a blank page

any suggestions?

If you have an error reported by JMS Multisites when creating the slave site, this is normal that it does not succeed finally.

The question is why you have all these error messsages.

One of the reason is that all the directories was already created (physically or with a symbolic link that is different).
So recheck the deploy directory and verify that all the directories correspond to the expected symbolic links that are reported by JMS Multisites. Probably you have different path or that you have physical directory instead of a link.
