Error 500 on /administrator Page 12 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,
I have a problem to access the administrator-Page of a new istalled slave.

When I installed the new slave i get an automaticaly redirect to the Front-End everything looks fine (frontend domain is like slave1.kbt.mydomain.com/).
If i try to access the adminpage (slave1.kbt.mydomain.com/administrator/) I get an internal server error (500).

I looked up on my FTP and there is no administrator folder in the folder of slave1, maybe that is the problem but i have no idea how to solve it.

please help me out.
best regards Daniel

If the "administrator" directory is missing, this is probably because in the JMS Template rule, you have "ignored" the directory.

So verify the JMS template rule and the you have the "administrator" directory defined as "Symbolic Link".

thanks for your answer.

But I don't use a selfmade template I want to crate a new "slavesite" via backend in the dropdown for "template" i selected "-fresh slave site-"

here is a Screenshot

I will try to reproduce it and will keep you posted.

Based on the URL and the deployed directory, I suppose that you created the subdomain in a subdirectory of your master website.

In general, when you use cPanel and create a subdomain, the subdomain is created in the root of your "public_html".
I would only suggest that you verify the consistency between the subdomain definition and the JMS slave site definition.

Normally, when you create a subdomain with cPanel, you also have the "document root" directory created. So this should not require to create the JMS "deployed folder" directory but this does not explain the "administrator" directory that would be ignored.

When you go in the JMS template and that you try to create a template, do you have the "administrator" in the list and do you have the "Symbolic Link" associated to the "administrator" directory ?
Perhaps this could help you identifying the reason why the "administator" directory would not be created.

Well i dont know why, but symbolic links on admin directory doesen't work for me.
I solved the problem by creating a new Template where i copy the admin directory to the slave.
