For all customers who have purchased JMS 1.2 within the last 12 month, we will provide them a discount coupon to allow buying the new JMS 1.3 at a lower price.

We expect to send an email to the existing customer that have purchased JMS during the last 12 month when we will consider JMS 1.3 as a Release Candidate.

Concerning the compatibility with the additional extensions, they should be compatible but we didn't have re-checked them yet.
We currently know that we have a bug in JMS 1.3. beta3 that does not allow runing the "Article Sharing for JMS".
We have fixed it and will be available the next release. (RC or Beta 4)

If someone buys the 1.3 beta it includes future updates and bug fixes correct?

Yes, like the other product, you can get the latest version as explained in the FAQ.
