I have quickly test the JEvents 1.4.3 rc2 and I confirm that the configuration is shared between all the websites.
I will develop a patch for this extension that will be available in the Patch Definition version 1.1.10

This problem does not appears with JEvent 1.5.0 rc that save its configuration into the DB
