Hi, i am trying to create slave site off of template but getting "Unable to retreive the configuration of the site ID" error. Slave site db has a diff table prefix. I can however create slave sites off master (main joomla) site. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As the error report you, this mean that you try to create a slave sites based on a "website tempate" that refer to a slave site that is not yet configured.
If you have a look in "site manager" for the site that is used by the "website template", you should see that the DB parameters are not defined.
This means that the website that you want to replicate is not working because there is no Joomla configuration - There is DB parameters.
