Illegal variable _files or _env or _get or _post o 15 Years, 2 Months ago	Karma: 0
I loaded joomla multisites into my Joomla install, and put a site in. When I go to the site URL I get the following error on screen: Illegal variable _files or _env or _get or _post or _cookie or _server or _session or globals passed to script. Can anyone provide any insight into why I might be getting this?

We received this error when we modified our local hosts file so that a domain (e.g. samples.com) would point to our joomla install. However, DNS was not setup for this on the Internet. Once we used a real working domain the issue went away.
