Hello!
I have some questions when I see...

"Plugin for Joomla 1.5 that allow replace the default meta generator.
This can be usefull to avoid publishing a possible sensitive information for hackers."

What sort of sensitive informations? Thanks!

The name of Joomla itself.
By default, when a page is produced by Joomla, the generator is "Joomla! 1.5 - Open Source Content Management".
This kind of information can be used by crawer to identify website that are developped by Joomla and therefore try to use specific Joomla exploit to hack your website.
Mask such information reduce the risk to be identified as a Joomla website.
It is also recommended to use SEF or things like that to hidde the URL parameters that can also be an indicator that the website is runing with Joomla.
