TOPIC: Display problem main menu

Display problem main menu 15 Years ago Karma: 0
Hello,

I have 2 sites with 2 content and 2 "main menu" to be different
The same "main menu" is displayed on the 2 sites.
I have done many tests in 2 days, local or remote installation following the installation guide
I have the impression that it is a cache problem.
By deleting the cache on a joomla site, it works.
I have the impression that the display slows JMS

Sorry for my bad English

Configuration:
Joomla 1.5.10
JMS 1.1.18
JCE 1.5.2
1 single database
1 same template

Concerning the Joomla cache, all depends if you have configured your hosting server to share the same directory than the master website or if the slave sites have their own directory and that you have configure JMS with a deployed directory for those slave sites.

It seems that Joomla has hardcoded the word "cache" at many places and that they have assumed that the cache directory is located in the site root directory + "/cache".
Therefore each time you provide a different site root directory (in apache DocumentRoot), your slave site will use specific cache.

If you have shared the same master root directory for the different websites, this may result in this strange result.
