Can you give a detailled procedure that we can use to reproduce your problem.
What must be configured with which values, ...
We are not very famillar with RSS and a sample to reproduce the problem will help us understand it.

Thank you for the fast reply...

Basically I would enable the RSS Syndication from a slave site and then at the frontend I would click the rss link and copy the url for the content that it is displaying.

Now, I want to display this feed on my master site using the mod_feed module that comes with Joomla. I would create a new mod_feed module in the module manager and under the "Feed URL" I would paste the link that I copied previously. This module is placed in a user position.

When I test it I get an error. If I use some other rss link it works. It's also not the mod_feed module as I have tried others and it is the same.

I hope this clarifies.

I will try to reproduce it and will contact you if I need more details.

Perhaps something that could help me reproduce correctly, can you tell me if the master and slave site use the same domain name?
Does the slave site is a subdirectory ?

I just would like to know because you seems to say that when working with an external rss link, it works and not when it is a slave.

Perhaps the reason is that you are using the same domain name and that the link is converted in "local" link instead of a full url.

Thank you.

Yes. The master and slave are in the same domain. ie. domain.com/multisites/slave1

So how would I convert it to a full url instead of a local?

Can you check that when you have provided the full URL to the module if when you edit it later if you still have a full link or a local link.

If you have a local link, this probably mean that you should convert in full link.
To do that, the only solution is to use another domain or subdomain that would be synonym of your current slave url.
