Thanks for the fast reply.

I did check again and the Feed Url is the full link. So your saying I would need a different domain to point to the slave site for it to work?

Hi, I have made a new domain and forwarded to the slave site and it still does not work with the new rss link url.

Any ideas?

You can not redirect or forward the domain but really define it.
The forward or redirect change the URL.

You must define in your hosting server something like slave1.domain.com that is assigned to the same directory than you www.domain.com/multisites/slave1 (if this is the current url).

Once you have do that, you have to update your slave in JMS to add a domain name synonym.
www.domain.com/multisites/slave1
slave1.domain.com

Hi, thank you again for looking into this.

However, I have done what you asked and created a domain to be assigned to the slave directory and I also defined it in the alias of the slave configuration.

Still no feed picking up.

?

Perhaps but you still not answer to the question that is:
Do you have a short or full URL in the case where it does not work ?

If in the case where it works you have a full URL
AND in the case where it does NOT work you also have a full URL
then you should try to debug it.

I think that your answer will be short URL when it does not work but you still not confirmed it.
Can you give the real URLs of your websiteS to see the working and non working cases.

It is a Full url if I interpret you correctly.

The slave is helios.northernontario.travel/multisites/northbay/

and norddelontario.com/ is the alias that is mapping to the slave directory

Here is the same site that has a separate installation and is not a part of the JMS multisite northernontario.travel/northbay the rss feed from here works.
